FUNDRAISERS
A heart felt thank you from Carol Schaefer
Hi everybody,
It was a great 2014 at the Pastrami King Booth thanks to the hard work and tremendous effort from all our volunteers. We couldn't have done it without your willingness to help, to pitch in, to give of your time, and to take on any task required all done with a smile and a positive attitude. It all ran so smoothly! Thank you so much.
It was a great family spirit of volunteers whether they worked in the kitchen, prepared spiral spuds, cooked fries, made sandwiches, prepared condiments, washed dishes or, worked outside the kitchen involved in food sales, called out orders, distributed food, sold beer, restocked food items or cleaned up…all the while schmoosing with the customers. It was a wonderful group to work with.
There was lots of laughter and chatter as we renewed old friendships from years past or developed new contacts. It was very much appreciated, when there were volunteer gaps in the schedule, or religious holidays, how people signed up for extra hours or outside organizations or friends stepped up to the plate to help out. That is true family! Our “outstretched hands” were accepted in the spirit of giving. Thank you.
In our appreciation, please mark your calendar to attend with your family the Thank You BBQ on Sunday, October 26th at 11:30 am at B’nai Jacob Synagogue. A flyer with details will soon be emailed to you.
Once again, I can’t thank you enough for your help.
