FUNERAL SERVICES
One of Congregation B'nai Jacob's essential services to the Bakersfield Jewish community is the Home of Peace Cemetery. The only kosher burial ground in Kern County. Working with a local funeral home, the Chevre Kadisha has developed modest, traditional funerals for our members and their dependents. Congregational volunteers provide support and aid to the bereaved family, and arrange minyanim during the week of mourning.
