TZEDAKAH
"Tzedakah (charity) is equal to all the other commandments combined" Talmud (Baba Batra 9a). Our synagogue welcomes and truly appreciates any donation, small or large. These donations can be given for a specific purpose or for general use. Any person can make a synagogue donation in honor of, in memory of, in appreciation of, in observance of Yahrtzeit of, or in the speedy recovery of a loved one or family friend. When the donation is made, a card is sent to the recipient telling them that a donation in his/her name was made to the synagogue by a particular person. These donations would then be listed in the HaKesher.
Thank you for your support and generous donation(s) to Congregation B'nai Jacob.

TREE OF LIFE
Would you like to honor someone you love? Commemorate a life cycle event? Please consider purchasing a golden leaf on CBJ's "Tree of Life." This beautiful tree was donated by David Laba in honor of his parents. Each leaf will be beautifully inscribed with the honored names you desire. What a great wedding, Bat/Bar Mitvah or "just because" gift! The cost of a leaf is $150 or two for $275.
May we suggest that due to the time and effort in processing these welcomed and valued donations that $18, representing Chai, is the minimum donation as it is in most synagogues? The generosity of our congregants has always been and will always be above and beyond our expectations.
Please send your donation to:
